How our nursing clothes work for breastfeeding on the go

We get a lot of questions from mamas about how our nursing clothes work. Here’s a look at the different types of nursing clothing options we offer and how moms use them to breastfeed on the go.

Nursing Queen styles have both lift-up flaps and hidden zippers for easy breastfeeding access. Both are great for either pumping or nursing!

Horizontal Zipper Openings
Like many of our designs, this sweatshirt has a horizontal 2-way zipper (with pulls on both sides). Moms can unzip one side at a time, both sides to the center or all the way to the other side. Several of our sweatshirts and hoodies have this design.

Vertical Zippers Openings
Many of our dresses have vertical zippers which are disguised as bust darts.  This design has two separate openings so moms can open the zippers as wide as they need, then zip down to create a smaller opening.

Many of our styles also have two slant zippers. You can open these one at a time or both to tandem feed or pump.

There are several styles (including many dresses) with the hidden vertical zipper access for breastfeeding.

Lift-up Flap or Pull-Aside Openings
Moms can easily "lift-up" or "pull aside" the opening to pump or nurse. The top layer acts as a nursing cover if more coverage is desired. Here's a closer look at this sweater option.

Easy Pumping Access
Pumping moms especially love our horizontal zipper openings because the zippers can unzip all the way to one side, creating a large opening to easily adjust pump parts. Here's a look at how moms pump in our styles.

Scrubs
We also offer scrubs for doctors, nurses and other medical professionals! No more getting undressed to pump at work! Simply un-snap the waist belt and then re-snap both ends of the belt around the neck. The "exposed" front of the scrubs, folds up and AWAY from pump parts. Then the stretchy, criss-cross underlayer of fabric, pulls aside to easily nurse or pump.

You don't NEED to wear nursing clothes to breastfeed but there are benefits. For many moms, nursing clothes help make breastfeeding and pumping easier and help make them feel more confident to nurse anywhere!
